Resolved Question: is there any way i could change my accent?

i moved to the south when i was 10 years old ( 5 years ago) . well i can tell i gained a horrible southern accent :/ but i never noticed it that muchh... the group of people i hangout with arent country at all; & theyre my friends & all but still they do that little "playful" picking on me about how i talk :// i haaaaate it . and then today me & some random guy were talking in class & then i said something &he like copied what i said then he said "damnn rednecks" :( so i just stopped talking for the rest of the day . lol seriously. &i have a really soft; quiet voice its just my damn accent :/ is it possible to change it ??...
