Resolved Question: What do you do when your Boyfriend makes fun of your voice constantly?

I am a gay male, and I live in South Carolina. I have a bit of a Southern draw to my voice, but it's not bad at all. I don't sound like a redneck or a hillbilly. I am not overly flamboyant, but I do have feminine characteristics when it comes to some of my speech patterns. I sometimes talk fast and my pitch changes, but it's not constant. My voice range goes from low to high, depending on my mood or my seriousness level. If I am having fun, and I am really happy, my pitch might go high, and sound a bit feminine over the telephone, but if I am just feeling normal, or depressed, my voice goes from typical male to low pitch. My Boyfriend, who is a newly open gay man, is always calling attention to my voice, because it's either too feminine or too Southern. He makes fun of me, and imitates my voice. He tells me that I need to work on changing my voice so that people won't laugh at me and make fun of me. This really hurts my feelings, and I have told him over and over again how insecure it makes me feel. Yet, he continues to make fun of me, time and time again, no matter how much it hurts my feelings. The only thing I know to do is to try to ignore him, but it's really hard when it hurts my feelings so much.
